Luree & Tracy
A blog dedicated to aspiring authors and the journey 'On the Road to Publication'.
Entry for January 5, 2008

So, Luree is worried about brain freeze.  I am worried about getting the hysterical giggles as I do in the most serious of events.  Like funerals.  What can I say?  We all deal with nerves in our own unique ways.  Right?  Right?

Luree has strict instructions to jab me in the ribs with her elbow and say, "Teacher", as we go into our meetings.  That will remind me that I am quite capable of entering a room of unknown and commanding the situation.  Yeah, sure right.  Now it's Luree who is laughing at me!

I'll just need to let loose my silver Irish tongue, which I am quite famous for in many circumstances.  Yes, I'm the partner with the highest BS quotient.  Let us pray that I can pull it out at the Writer's Conference and dazzle the Agents and Editors alike.

Must run now, since we are in a state of panic.  Trying to perfect three separate projects and make each one a memorable jolt to stand out among many other pitches.

But, I must say, all modesty aside...  We are good.
